The lighthouse of Shipwreck Point!! With a name like that (it sounds like a Hardy Boys mystery), how could we not have a fabulous time. The Lighthouse itself exceeds our expectations. The décor was beautiful and the rooms bright and cheerful. Our favorite room of course was the 3rd floor cupola where we watched the sunset everyday.

Ours days were spent wondering the shores of Shipwreck Point making friends with the fishermen and playing croquet and scrabble.

Thank you.

WOW! Just WOW! What a perfect place to completely wind down from the busy city-life! From such a quiet and friendly neighborhood, to the gorgeous landscape, to the lighthouse, this cottage sits on a little piece of heaven!

Everything in the cottage was perfect: from the matching and very comfy furniture (great for a quiet read) to the amazing 3rd floor (which offers a 360 view of the harbour, the beaches, and the ocean and beyond!)

It’s a wonderful community here at Naufrage. Everyone gathers when a large fish is caught, and marvels over the “catch of the day”. Friendly faces, excellent weather, gorgeous landscapes, this place was magnificent!

Thank You

The sun has set on our final day at the Naufrage Lighthouse Cottage. Our sense of sadness is more then offset by the great memories. From our walks along the beach, to the day trips to East Point, Sailing along the Heritage Cardigan River, or lying on the beach at North Rustico – it was all so simple – and it was all so great!! Many of our party grew up spending family vacations in PEI. This summer, at this cottage, those fond memories have been rekindled – together, as a family, so thank- you for the memories and allowing your cottage to be a part of them.

We have had a wonderful, relaxing week here at the Naufrage Lighthouse Cottage. We enjoyed the peacefulness and quietness of the area, walks along the beach, coupled with day trips to explore the surrounding area. Nothing like “hanging on the edge” of Canada overlooking the sea to relax one’s mind and body. It is exactly what we needed before returning to out lives in the fall.

We have absolutely enjoyed the lighthouse cottage. Its design, setting, decoration and colors are absolutely gorgeous. It has been an adventure, just to discover what will happen when one turns on a light switch! And we particularly enjoyed reading our books in the “crows nest” on the 3rd floor with a gentle breeze blowing through. Thank you for letting us visit the cottage!
